Obtaining (from book sales specifically) books in Cyprus

In the USA it is very hard to find Greek books, as there is not a single dedicated Greek book store. I have an idea that I think may help using internet social networking.

Where I live in the state of New Jersey, in the United States of America, at the local town library they are having a book sale. At these book sales local people give away for free the books they no longer want to raise money for the town library(but sometimes the cause may be different). Each hardcover book costs $1, softcover .50(50 cents), for a bag full it cost like $10 at the current book sale in my town.

In Cyprus is there something similar, where you can go to buy alot of books that others do not want for a very, very cheap price? Because there are companies like Hermes Shipping with offices in Athens and New York that will ship goods from Greece to the USA by ocean freight for you. Probably there are similar companies that handle ocean bound freight to and from Cyprus. If I could work out the logistics I would like buy in bulk books that Greeks(in Cyprus) do not want(like from book sales that local bookstores have in my area) and ship them over to the diaspora.
