Please can anyone volunteer to support Michael on his walk from Limassol to Larnaca along the highway. We have volunteers from 7pm (when he starts) until 3am but no one after and we need people to drive 100 yards behind him with their hazzard lights on to alert traffic he is there and also to take refreshments for Michael and also to make sure he is OK and not ready to collapse. Please can you help keep him safe. He is doing this to raise funds for the dogs of Limassol.

Thank you again JB for your huge support, it is really needed and we appreciate it very much. I will speak to you to arrange pick up of all the goodies for the dogs. A BIG THANK YOU X

We are desperate for volunteers to go to the shelter for 3-4 hours in the mornings to feed and clean. Even if anyone can spare 1 morning a week please get in touch. This is very urgent as we need dedicated volunteers and only have 4 at the moment to rely on, who too have jobs and families to go to.

Managed to collect some food, bowls and cash (yippeeeeeeee) from the guys here at work. I'll be in touch to drop it off.

Come on people....one extra tin of food in the shopping trolley will help if we all do it. Better still cash goes a looooooong way :)

Thanks twinkle!

In Carfour you can buy 10 kilo bags of biscuits for just over £6 so please, please can you pay a little extra each month and buy a large bag of biscuits for the dogs. With a 100 dogs at the shelter we go through 25kilos of dog biscuits per day and even this is not enough for them. Today we only have one lady who can go to the shelter to feed the dogs but there is no one there to help her clean out the cages and this is just as important as feeding the dogs as if they don't get cleaned every day then diseases can start and dogs will become sick and die. So PLEASE can anyone spare 3-4 hours in the mornings even once of twice a week to help. I am begging you to all consider dedicating some of your hours to helping the dogs every week. THEY NEED US!

If I won the lottery and didn't have to work, I'd be there everyday! Doesn't help that I live in Larnaca either :(

Remember....good things come to those who wait

No unfortunately not and now we are down to only 2 dedicated volunteers which means no volunteers then no food for the dogs and no one to clean can mean the dogs will be come sick with disease. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE PEOPLE SPARE AT LEAST ONE MORNING PER WEEK FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS TO HELP LOOK AFTER THESE DOGS. They are all so so loveable and just want to be your friend so please be there and go and help them to live and be happy.
We do need dedicated volunteers who can prioritize time for the dogs every week, this is not a casual hobbie.

June I wish we could help but we are in the UK. I will send you another cheque. Is there any way you can directly approach the families of those serving in the UK bases for help? I'm sure I read about dogs being cared for at the Dhekalia base somewhere on this site.
