Every seen the film Shallow Hal. I've never met them yet, these two people in my eyes are the most beautiful purely because of what they do. Kindness and love, and the fact they are so unselfish makes them Supermodels in my eyes!!!!!!!

Have you contacted local hotels for blankets, towels etc? When I was a Housekeeper in a hotel and we bought new blankets or converted from blankets to duvets I took a car full of the old ones down to our local dog rescue centre. I know it is much hotter over there, and hotels may not have blankets but they must have old underblankets and towels. Might be worth a try?? Also there may be laundry companies that contract to the big hotels that may have old stock to pass on to a good home?

Excellent idea - thanks! We were actually going to ring a hotel today to see if they would donate a over night stay so we can do a raffle to raise money. Keep the ideas coming in!!

This is a registered charity and really needs help. Why not do a spring clean and bundle up those old towels and blankets. Pop a tin in the trolley at the supermarket. If every one on this forum was to do this small deed the dogs would have a slightly better life.

If everyone spent just five pounds extra at the supermarket every week the dogs would have plenty of food so please, please consider them next time you go shopping. A 15 kilo bag of dogs biscuits only costs 10-15 cyp and could go so far - can you afford one a month please?!

Don't forget to have a good look around for old blankets and thick towels, we all have them hidden in cupboards that we don't use.

Most importantly we need you to spare just 4 hours at least one day a week to feed the dogs and clean up.

We are begging for your help!

Thank you to all those that have given their help and support so far X

Hi,

I would be only too willing to offer my help. I work in Limassol and live in Pyrgs which is very close to where you are.

I could certainly work on Sundays for a few hours and also for a few hours on weekday evenings if you would like me to.

I have a dog of my own, a rescued dog, and after having lived in Cyprus for over a year now, I am fully aware of how animals are mistreated by some people.

Please let me know if I can be of use to you in any way at all.

Jaz.
