Hi June

Just a quickie to let you know I haven't forgotten you. I was going to call once the boot of the car is full. It's about 3/4 at the mo. No need sending your hubby down to Larnaca unless it was worth it. I will hopefully call you in the next week and arrange a suitable time for drop off.

COME ON GUYS!!! A FEW EXTRA TINS OF DOG FOOD, SOME OLD BLANKETS AND BOWLS....CASH IF YOU CAN. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!!!! ;)

Thank you Twinkle so much for your help. You mentioned about 'Future owners'?

We rescued another poor starving dog from a cliff edge last night at yermasoyia dam, only 8 months old and covered in ticks. I have this dog at my home at the moment but we already have two dogs that are a handful. Anyway we gave him a nice bath and got hundreds of ticks off him. He is so beautiful with such a lovely character. It never ends here.

I can only ask regarding adoption. I've always quoted this

You can tell how civilised a country is by the way its people treat animals.

People that are unkind to animals will be judged. Something that offers such unconditional love and affection....you can't beat it :)

Moving this important message back up to the top.

I too am trying to put together a parcel of donations and will let you know when its ready. Note I'm off to the UK for a couple of weeks but I might be able to do a couple of afternoon feeds per week when I get back if that's any help? I usually try to avoid getting involved as I'm a real softy and can't bear to see the animals suffer - however I appreciate someone has to do it and I'll just need to toughen up!

I already have 5 stray dogs so can't possibly take any more!

Come on everyone - if we each stuck an extra can or two of dog food into our weekly shop we could make a difference.

Good luck !

Thank you Alassa for your donations and offering to help at the shelter on your return from the UK, this is the most important issue for the shelter at the moment. I completely understand how difficult it will be going there and a lot of people feel the same, but you are right, we have to put this a side or all dog lovers would not go and the poor dogs need us! THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THIS AT THE TOP

PLEASE! Only 4 hours a day. If seven people came forward and offered one day each a week we would be sorted!

Wish there were more people like you who want to help! We feel time is running out for these poor dogs - there must be someone somewhere who has time :(
