There is a word for it in English which I can't recall at this moment (Altzheimer's,Zan?
) when the adjective and the noun mean the same thing...
But the point is,if Papadopoulos did say what he is claimed to have said,it was at best a very insensitive remark,given the situation in Cyprus...My guess is that he was talking in Greece hence he wanted to say something nice to the Greeks strictly for internal consumption...A big mistake of course in this day and age of the internet...Papadopoulos, in my humble opinion, is past his use-by date,probably by some 40 years.He is a man of yesterday with a huge chain and ball around his leg.Cyprob will not be solved while he is in power.He should be gently persuaded to give up the game and retire somewhere peacefully,and play with his grandchildren if he has any...
