Fuuny you should say that. The day I have the biggest problem is when the local fruitmarket is operating so I will have a plentiful supply of bananas, potatoes, carrots and other fruit and veg to stick in their tailpipes. Now what do you suggest I stick up the exhaust of their cars. (Not to rude please)

The best thing is to push a potato up the tail pipe, then use a stick or something to push it up a good 15-20 cm. Then push a large carrot with the greenery still attached so that it's a loose fit. When the engine doesn't start, the guy may see the carrot and pull it out. Then he'll start scratching his head when it still won't start.

The downside is that it won't work on half the Cypriot vehicles whose exhaust systems are in such a bad condition that they will start normally!

Other problem is the exhaust on the standard car here is bigger than the wheels so potatoes are not big enough. Still fancy a bit of car trashing.

Webbo, I've got relatives living across a church so as you can probably understand it gets very busy many times of the year there. The solution they found that works was to pinch a couple of traffic cones (Witch's hats) and place them in strategic spots. Works fine. If I remember well the “HomeCenter” sells them traffic cones if you’re not up to pinching them! :)

Webbo...come on you dont have to destroy all those vegetables when people die from hunger.

This is what you asked....

Enjoy!!!

Sorry cones don't won't work. I have two bollards weighted with concrete and attached to each other with chain which I place at the entrance and still get up in the morning to find some prat has taken the effort to get out of his / her car and park across the gate as if it were his/her parking place. They even drive into them on a regular basis so a plastic traffic cone ain't gonna work.

Thank you Lena

I will be printing this out in big letters to place at the gate. Hope you have a good day. The vegetable are safe for now.
