Time 4 The RoC to change National Anthem to be inclussive ..

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Time 4 The RoC to change National Anthem to be inclussive ..

of all Cypriots.

Cyprus needs to act quickly for a new national anthem that embraces all Cypriots and to also let go of the notion of Helenism. The Beijing Olympics could be a good timeline. What are holding back Mr Papadopoulos?

Why are the Beijing Olympics a good timeline? So they will play our new national anthem when we win the gold medals ?

Yes of-course Sotos, Why else. But mainly as I read that a Turkish speaking Cypriot athlete will be representing Cyprus and I believe it would be nice to have an anthem that does not speak exclussively of being Greek.:) :) :)

VP ..... what can I say may be you are right may be you could be wrong although, sadly I have to agree with you. A nation that went on a referendum for unification still continues to have the anthem that it does, has shown a level of immaturity.

What does that tell you about your own leadership and what we TCs have to face when trying to negotiate with your elected leaders.

When you give us back our land then we change the anthem. Now we are at war so if we might have to kill you all to liberate our country whats the point of changing the anthem? Will you give us back what you stole from us in a peaceful way Viewpoint? I think only by force you will do it. Am I not right?
