With so many posts on virtually the same subject it would seem that Mr grooster was hell bent on moving to Cyprus for casual work.

As we haven't heard from him recently -- has he gone -- did he give up the idea ????

I'm still unemployed or perhaps more to the point probably unemployable by now.

I don't think I'll ever find a job that paid as well as my last one did

I really don't know how I found time to go to work before.

Problem is I can't claim unemployment benefit which is a bit of a problem .

Still only another 4 weeks and I'm off to Cyprus for a new and better life .

Hi Grooster you should have no problem finding work in Paphos so long as your not affraid of hard work for not good money. Ive lived in Paphos and worked there for 10 years now and i know i could earn heaps more in the uk but i wouldnt swap it for the world. There are a few places looking for chefs at the moment or bar work or bar waitering shouldnt be too hard to find just get out there and meet lots of people but dont make a tw-t of your self or noone will hire you. Buy the cyprus mail out every day or the cyprus weekly out every friday they have jobs and flats in there. Good luck and enjoy
