Hello Jambo, I appreciate the offer but I really do want to buy in Larnaca town. If I can't find what I want i may look further afield but not as far as Paphos. Thanks anyway and if I go to Paphos I'll buy you a drink anyway!
Cheers

They will wear you down so much that you would willingly buy a house made of goats cheese before the end of the trip.

These guys and gals are professionals --- at parting you from your money.

Although I've never had the experience myself I know a lot who have and they say it's one of the worst decisions in their life and if they had known what it was going to be like they would have never gone on the "inspection trip".

This is HIGH pressure selling at it's best ( or worst which ever way you look at it ) -- not many come home without buying something.

Best of luck
Bill

Hey Bill, you lost your bet! I did not buy but I did see a particular development that I was interested in. I plan to go back to investigate the resale market and compare with what I saw. I had loads of free time, it was not a hard sell, I had two three hour sessions with a really nice chap who took me around, showed me what I wanted to see and did his job very well. There is a good chance that I will buy from Parador in the future it just depends on what I see next trip. I plan to have a look around Makenzie area, can anyone enlighten me on property there?

It was an interesting visit quite apart from the property aspect. The Pavlo Napa Hotel, where I stayed was almost full with fat Russian ladies. I don't remember seeing one Russian bloke, it may have been Russiam W.I. or just an aspiring slimmers club. I think most of them were on the pull, OK if you like bouncy castles but not my taste. I do know of a couple of older Cypriots who, having lost their wives, sought Russian "company".

Another thing I'd like to know about is the proposed redevelopment of the port area in Larnaca, can anyone enlighten me?

Good for you Jerry   -- as I said I've never been on one myself but have been told some horror stories by those that have.

Hey steady on -- you are getting me all overcome with excitement here.
Perhaps I should take an inspection trip just for the exciting night life.

I will be relocating to larnaca in about 4 weeks so I might see you there -- and if you are still looking for an apartment I might be able to sell you mine
