I will be leaving Cyprus to fly home to the States for a couple weeks in June. I have a flight that gives me a full day and night in London (I love London!) I am trying to find clean, cheap accomodation fairly near Paddingtion. (bayswater, hyde park, kings cross...etc...) for less than 40 pounds. i have read so many bad reviews on the cheap places i have found online.

I have stayed at the London House Hotel in the past, but their prices have gone up... anyone have any reccommendations based on personal experience?

Careylynn, youve quoted some of the most expensive areas in London with regards to property. Good luck in finding accomodation for under 40 pounds round there. Best thing is to find a hostel.

I managed to find a room for 35 pounds with great reviews everywhere I looked. Its the Crestfield hotel, walking distance to Kings Cross. Looking forward to my London stay!
