The motto when buying on the Internet must be this.:
Not to buy locally is no disgrace.
Not to want to buy locally is a pity.
But to buy from China direct when based in Cyprus a piece of rather expensive equipment is a tragedy.
So avoid further tragedies and buy locally or from European companies.

So - to recap cyfo, sorry but them's the breaks!

There appears to be nothing you can do about this. Maybe good idea to read the smallprint next time and put this one down to experience.

Sorry!

Shopping online has a lot of traps so you should be careful. You should not buy just from the cheapest online shop you can find!! I buy online only if what I want will be cheaper by at least 15-20% even after shipping and taxes are added and I buy only from reputable online retailers. Buying from an unknown online store is a great risk. You could lose ALL your money not just half. What you can do now is to write them several emails or even call them and demand a full refund. Threaten them that if they don't you will give the case to your layers and that you will post negative reviews about them all over the internet. Maybe it will work.

I am here in the UK (at the moment) and buy from Chinavasion regularly. I must say that the service is poor. Can I suggest that you find the contact details of the nearest Chinese Embassy & report the matter to them. I have had some issues with the delivery and reported them to the Chinese Embassy in Manchester (UK) and that worked. I travel to Paphos regularly and I have a Company in the Uk installing such products for local Aston Martin/Jaguar Franchise. I would be very happy to either provide and/or install you an in car DVD. if you wish I will supply my contact details in an effort to assist you.

I hope this is of use to you.

Kind regards

Mark
