Actually the most hatefull remarks I have read related to the particular event are yours and those of the "peace activists" who are clearly heard in the video shouting "fasistes, koufales, erxontai kremmalles", "elate oloi mazi na tous pellanoumen re" and "gamo ti mana sou"... Anyway, I think I gave you enough attention for the week.

I totally agree..

So what you are both saying is that we should enact a law denying people a right that is specifically guaranteed by the Cyprus constitution (article 4.4) as well as a right which is separately protected under the freedom of expression provisions of the Constitution and the European Convention of Human Rights.

Polis, polis, here we go again. Still apologising for the fascist minority of the GC community? The last time I remember you were supporting Nikiforos views.

Just let me remind you who these people are.

a) Hrysi Avgi ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hrisi_Avgi ) is an ultra right fascist organisation established in Greece and is well known for its skinhead nazist links and ideology. This organisation has been banned in greece, though it still operates underground and is linked to some GC student organisations operating in Greece (i.e. PEOF and DRASIS).

b) EFEN students ( http://agrino.org/efen/main.htm )also participated in the counter-demostration. These are members of a pupil organisation funded by extreme right wing elements of the GC society and are known for their ultra nationalistic views. Some of EFEN's members have links with Hrisi Avgi and the organisation is considered a "breeding" place for future PEOF, Drasis and Hrisi Avgi. Some members of EFEN participated at the events in the English School where some TC students were attacked.

Both these organisations are considered by the majority of GCs as dangerous and in my opinion need to be banned in the same way as similar organisations are banned in Europe.

As for you polis I am not surprised about you defending such organisations and the ideas they represent. I consider you a potential danger for the Cypriot people. Such views need to be isolated and never allowed to poison the Cypriot people again with the venom of nationalism. I consider your views equally dangerous to the ones of the Grey Wolves, you are simply the two sides of the same coin.

Now you can start swearing and shouting again....I will be here though to expose youfor what you actually are.

Takis Hadjidimitriou and all the other clowns who are shown in the video shouting hysterically and waving their fingers at the police because it refused to clamp down on the counter protesters are hardly what I would call flowers. More like weeds.

then I wld prefer the weed  cactus hurts :(

It only hurts if you don't handle it right, just like a rose.

I can handle a rose, it smells nice, ...the others stink....I dont wana handle them..coz I dont have to..

chrysi avgi hardly exists in cyprus....actually it doesnt. you cannot ban an organisation that it doesnt exist.
efen is a pupils group. yes most of them have ideas that are dangerous. i disagree with everything they say , but i am against banning them. one cannot fight fascism using fasistic methods. they have every right to express their opinion , so long they abstain from the use of violence....just like everybody else

It depends whether waving the flag of another nation in a UNITED CYPRUS can by considered offensive, therefore not within the limits of free speech. In my opinion ALL the GCS and half the Turkish Cypriots will agree that waving the Turkish flag in a United Cyprus is offensive, and all the TCs plus half the GCs in a United Cyprus will agree that waving the Greek flag is offensive. So here you go, majority either way, so its declared illegal

Well if you consider invating schools and attacking TC students a right of expression then there is no ground for banning such organisations!

As for Hrisi Avgi you are right the organisation is not formally present in Cyprus as it is not registered, howerver, there is a Hrisi Avgi Cyprus branch or "Cyprus Core" as they used to call it.
