Did it ever pass through your mind that the report is wrong? For example, the only time I ever heard or saw the slogan "A good Turk is a dead Turk" ever being used in Cyprus in any meeting demostration, and I think I've seen more such meetings and demonstrations than most, was in a poster published by Vassos Ftohopoulos which was not intended to be taken at face value which he used at a protest in a bicommunal meeting held at Pyli Ammochostou. It was just about the same time that he published in his magazine a recipe for Caretta Caretta turtle soup. Otherwise, I don't see why someone should be attacked simply for holding a protest meeting saying that there can be no peace without justice. In fact, I think I'm going to introduce this motto as my signature for a while.
