If you mean ‘duty free’ the answer is none.

Theoretically, you can take any number of duty paid cigarettes between EU countries.

You can take as many as you like for your own consumption, but UK customs guidelines say 3200.

When I was 15 my grandad gave me £1000 to buy a computer when I was in Cyprus. My plane was delayed for 12 HOURS on the way back so I did a lot of shopping for fags and drinks for my family and friends back in the UK, everything was so cheap so I brought loads. I also had LOADS of packets of tobacco for my dads brother in my suitcase that my aunt put in there.. :?

I came to the UK and tried to walk through "Nothing to declare" with bags of cigarettes&drink on the front of my trolley at Stansted () I got BUSTED and got myself a criminal record for smuggling 8)

Be carefull!

At 15 the limit is zero, so its hardly surprising you were picked up ;)

As fagash says, the guideline limit is 3200.
