Cyprus TV settings

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what settings Cyprus TV is broadcast in? Trying to set up a new TV, but for some reason I cant get a full screan picture.

Using a primetel box btw.

Is your TV set 4:3 or 16.9....If your TV is 4:3 make sure you configure it from picture settings to use 4:3 not 16:9...

PAL G standard (note the UK uses PAL I, with a different sound channel offset). This is the same standard by most of Continental Europe.

I thought the problem was with the picture not the sound!! :?

Yes, it was the picture, and your advise was right too!

Also was good to know what the right settings are meant to be instead of just choosing "auto"
