I love reggae coz it helped millions of black people to get up , stand up..reggae is the symbol of freedom for African nations..

I don think Reggae was the reason why many African nations received their independance from their colonial masters.

Most of Cyprus's Black population resides in the north, and I have heard from a Turkish Cypriot that three of his cousins are all married to Jamaican men. Can any such thing be heard from the Greek Cypriot side?

Colin Kazim Richards is from Walthemstow in London. I also know of many half West Indian and half Greek Cypriots in London also. Go to an inner city Greek school in London and you will see for yourself.

Leon, are you trying to say that Turkish Cypriots are more open to blacks than Greek Cypriots? Because thats the way its coming accross and it sounds stupid. Last time I was in Nicosia I saw a few black people..and like someone else said - most of the blacks in north Cyprus are decendants of Sudanese slaves of rich Turkish Ottoman families.

From what ive seen in London - Turkish families seem to be quite against their daughters marrying black people - ive seen it for my own eyes.

I reckon if you counted - you will find more in the south.

The example of the football game in front of kids is not the best education for them.

At football games they swear at everybody. Calling somebody "Mavro" is nothing compared to shouting at players things like "fuck your mother" and all that. All those stupid fans is why I stopped going to football games ages ago.
