Hello,dear miltiades...

I said "you" because I was addressing Rafaella specifically...
A long time ago we corresponded about her being from Varoshia...
And I remember joking about women from Varoshia with Alexios joining in... :D

If you go to my village, can I ask you to kiss the ground for me?
I am not sure that Kikapu is as sentimental as you and I,my brother(I asked him too if you remember)...
And try to imagine it green, green with vineyards, orange and plum orchards, almond, wallnut and fig trees, wheat and legume fields, plenty of sheep and goat herds...and a little boy of 10 riding on a donkey bareback...

Thank you,my True Cypriot Brother!

I'm not an expert on Cyprus but from what my mum has told me she thinks Famagusta WILL be given back to the GC's though it's going to be used as a tool by the T/TCs to reach a solution...

Well then maybe your mum should join us on the forum :)

you all do realise that ankara and athens and london are holding cyprus as hostages. and when we excepted the 1960 agreement that was drawn up by these crooks we signed away any rights we might have had in cyprus as cypriots................. so not we just plod along and hope for the best while under the shade of greek and turkish flags in cyprus

It is amazing to see the great patriots of the forum so amazed at the revelation that Ankara is only holding on to Varosha in order to use it as a negotiation card during solution talks. However, Varosha would now be a bustling and sizzling with life town had we all said yes to the Annan plan. Of course, we may still gat it back in a few hundred years when the balance of power changes and we find ourselves on top again.

I most certainly will do so , I would not miss it for the world. I believe its a few miles away from my village but my dear friend I would still go if it was a hundred miles.
