I was on Bar Street a couple of weeks ago and it was very quiet. Some of the bars are actually closed outside of high season. In July and August last year it was busy but if you want a bar with a few people in at this time of year then try the Waterhole at the town end of Bar Street. Just further on is Zorros, which seemed to be busy at weekends as very cheep beer. My favourite bar is Mataximus at the other end of Bar Street ; popular with trendy young locals. Good luck finding any single girls, it seems to be mainly couples at this time of year.
