Is it that bad up there? Or is it a thing going on between the two partys? Stabbings and shootings happens everywhere m8, I was confronted with 9mm when working in a nightclub in the canaries. The lad came back to shoot us after we had taken him out for smoking drugs inside the club. I have heard of rivalty on cyprus but dont know how bad or serious it is.
I am a 6'2, 17 stone kickboxer so I can look after myself its not that but I dont want to move in to Babylon!

Look at the post above saying about the land being illegal mate, and only recognised by Turkey. Unfortunately this attracts the crooks, drug smugglers and other bad folk because this isn't a recognised country and people can go ito hiding there - you can drive from Kyrenia to Napa but it would take you ages - and after a night out I wouldn't do it. What kind of work are you looking for?

I try and avoid the knives and guns where I can!!!!

Im a Dive Instructor and have a job already sorted out in the north, If its to bad I can always leave for the south. Im also a trained Bodyguard and have worked for private firms + I have been running doors in various night clubs. Getting out of the security jobs tho and will try to concentrate on my diving.
Im not to fussed with night life, im getting married shortly and we are the quiet types that loves a quiet night and a few camping trips to see the sunset and a early sunrise on the beach. I know that south has a few pumping resorts with loads of drunkens running up and down screamin and shouting but I left that scene years ago. Im glad for the info you are giving me, didnt know that it was that bad in north!

Mate, if you love the sea there are some nice places in the South expecially around Protaras and Ayia Napa. Paphos could be a very good place for you too.
