Nothing unusual in that, at this time of year. However, such precipitation is essentially local nimbocumulus storms and a couple of km away it can be dry. No great help for the water situation. Last month (I think the 12th), we had a monster hailstorm here with 15 mm hailstones which left a layer about 7 cm thick in 12 minutes (when melted, it was 23 mm of precipitation). It absolutely devastated our garden (the summer fruit trees were in full blossom: we have 1 apricot, 3 peaches and half-a dozen nectarines left on 6 well-established trees
It also stripped leaves from many plants, including hibiscus and bougainvillea hedges.)
