lev i personally think that i haven't done anything for which i should say sorry to dms007...infact it was he whose behaviour was not proper...if he had an opinion on my not doing research on Cyprus then he could have said that in a rather polite manner...in that case i would have accepted his advice....

by the way i have also clarified in one of my earlier posts that i just wanted to know the firsthand experiences of the Indians living in Cyprus..and this can't be done by visiting sites like wikipedia....it was not that i was avoiding to put effort in doing reasearch on Cyprus...hope you and dms007 will understand my point .

I was going through this post looking for some stuff to write on, but what I found was really disappointing. What this mudslinging was for, I don't know.

Pankaj, u wanted to know about the experiences of Indians here in Cyprus, it is great, I must say. There has not been any particular case here till now, where I have felt out of sorts. You would be working most of the time in company and on weekends you will go around with your Indian friends only. You will get enough to lead a very good lifestyle. I hope you don't expect urself to go around partying in expensive clubs all the time. Also, the weather is good and people are also good.
You can feel a bit off-beat sometimes when you start identifying with the system out here. For example, in India, you can expect to loiter around in restaurants n places with gay abandon all the time. But may be, you can feel awkward a bit if you are having your meal in MacD or PizzaHut and others keep staring at you. Pretty normal, as in India too, foreigners are given that strange look. Don't expect that u can come here and have a Cypriot girlfriend to go around with as u can in India. So live within urself and u will do great.
Nothing to take away from Cypriots but that is the way world goes. India in the coming years will be a force to reckon with and then the attitude will change.
So, enjoy ur stay in India for these 4 months and be prepared to take the flight to Cyprus. You won't regret it, am I right my Cypriot friends?

Hi,

The young generation is somewht different here.I am live example in amdocs who got attacked by some young cypriot guys. You can confirm this from HR as well as the admin head, if such cases happened or not.But its true that majority of people are very nice and helping. The only problem is with the young generation over here....

Salary wise its ok, and i sent u a message also, but i dont know if u checked it or not.You can save upto 4 lakhs INR with this salary...Also the life style would be nice, unless u r much into drinking and girls..

Also the young generation may tease u many times near the mc donalds or some other areas, where ther eis school crowd

hello indianguy,
thanks alot for your concern....i read the private message that you sent to me and even i tried to respond to it but i was not able to do so as my private messaging service is temporarily disabled.....what should i do so that i can send private messages?

by the way how do Indians living there in Cyprus cope with the discriminatory behaviour of some cypriots? and is it necessary for the indians to learn greek?
