can anyone tell me what is the value of $1 US in terms of Cyprus currency?

What is certain is that you can buy less in Cyprus with $1 than what you can buy in India And don't forget that by next year the currency of Cyprus will be the Euro.

Nor can you spell simple phrases like 'at least' I think it is disgusting that you reproach someone whose mother-tongue isn't English for his very good English. It could even have been a typo. If you wish to make a crusade against every perpetrator of spelling or grammatical errors on this forum, you have a full time job on your hands - and that includes correcting many of the native English speakers, many of whom display an alarming lack of literacy.

the idea was not to correct spelling mistakes but just to tell him that he should do some research.

like asking about exchange rates, he could google that. there should be some effort to look for information, not just start asking questions just because someone is there to answer all the stupid questions.

how much time would it have take to find out some basic information about cyprus? if that was done then, someone would have know that cyprus is in the EU.

if one can find out about www.cyprus-forum.com, then so can some basic information about cyprus be found, even if this forum was scanned for relevant posts, then he could have got some background information about cyprus.
