Postby careylynn » Mon Apr 09, 2007 9:37 am

I have heard of these huts on the beach on the karpas peninsula that are 10 or 15 CYP per night. I am very interested in trying one of them out...but can't seem to find information on them to call and make reservation and just get info...anyone out there know much about them? ever stayed? know any contact details?

thanks very much!!! :)

The last time I was over that way, there was so much development going on.
the hotels that they where building where massive. ..
and the beaches in that area are out of this world..

Not exactly huts but...

The Oasis Hotel should be what you're talking about. They're not really huts but small, extremely basic rooms. The hotel itself only has 6 rooms and shared toilets/showers. Its a very nice place with a small basic restaurant. We've gone there for the day but haven't spend the night yet.

The beach huts you are asking about are "Hasan's Turtle Beach"
phone 90 533 864 1063 or 90 533 849 5756 Not sure of the code from the South, they are well signposted. Also there is the Levant Hotel before you come to Hasan's, it is on the right hand side. Sorry don't have the number for there, it has hotel rooms or beach huts right on the beach, spotlessly clean but basic and great food. Hope this helps.

Hi :) Actually we found a place even better than Hasan's. It is just a short drive down the beach from Hasan's. It is called Burhan's Place. the website is www.burhansgoldenbeach.com mobile: +90 542 854 2988 email: [email protected] He has a bar, restaurant and nice relaxing hammocks too :)

Have fun!! Also, like I said if you wanted to check out hasan's place it is just a short drive down the road (the only road that goes down the peninsula). Burhan's is a little bit more expensive but is cleaner and newer and has a great view of the gorgeous beach!

Thanks Careylynn
It makes me just want to go home, put on a pair of scruffy shorts and a tee-shirt, throw a towel over my shoulder, pick up my wallet,
my passport, and get in the car and go !..
I could do with a couple of days away ...

steve
It says something about bringing your own tent if you want,
I would imagine there would be some sort of fee for the site ...
look on this page.. his English text is not great, but hey !
