Pissouri was great, especially the part near Columbia Beach and Jetti/Jetty, and up the hill. Can anyone recommend Foutas for rental mediation ?

Had a good meal in Columbia Beach Hotel, and checked out the villas for rent along the road to Columbia Beach.

As I am still in Polis, I will be checking out Agarka and Platres tomorrow.

This will be a hard one, as I really like Peya/Pegeia as well as Pissouri area. The Pissouri village is really cramped, if you are by car.

BTW. Peya sounds like Pay Ya ! :D

Western Cyprus has mostly rocky beaches. Pissouri is also rocky. Limassol has sandy beaches but if you want lots of golden sand you have to go to the east of the island like in Ayia Napa and Protaras.

Hi My Friend

Both your English and transliteration spellings of the village are incorrect: it is 'Peyia' or 'Pegia'. (It is the most mispelled word on this Forum - oh apart from 'Moron' in the CyProb section LOL!)

You can get broadband in the Peyia location; if CYTA cannot provide it, you can have satellite access, which I am having installed this week.

It depends upon what you are looking for but: Polis is very quiet in the winter - as is the east coast. Platres is very cold in the winetr and packed in the summer!

1. If I could enter NC with my EU ID card instead of my passport, OK ! I don't want stamps in my passport and lose ROC entry.

2. If you take me around, will it be by car or foot ? :D

3. I'm not having a holiday, emigrating...

Today I visited Argaka, Giali, Pomos and Platres.

No places for me, except for hiking maybe.

Argaka > nothing special, Giali > same, Pomos > Nice views but cramped village > Platres > lovely, bit colder, excellent views and nature, no ADSL, no beach, plus : cooler in july/august.

I returned to Polis, knowing I really prefer Pegeia and Pissouri.

Tomorrow I will visit Akoursos and Pissouri to meet Mr. Foutas.

Anyone like to go sightseeing with me, send me PM.
