I used to get one day off every 14 -- now i may only work one day every 14 if I'm lucky.

Doesn't life have some strange twists and turns sometimes

i can only hope that someday i can support myself working less.

you are lucky, bill.

I'm living off my saving at the moment GorillaGal -- it wont last for ever unless I get my arse over to Cyprus which is not possible at the moment but will be soon hopefully.

I know what RichardB, Bill and GG mean...its really bad to work this days that everybody else celebrate with their families and friends...well people you have to think of your families sometimes and take some days off...well my mum is a nurse as well and we spend several Christmas, New years, East etc without her...     ... but at least we knew that this year was her turn next somebody else... but GG and Bill you have to think of your families...although i know that you might work that much for them...well to have you there sometimes is more necessary than have another new jacket or something!!! I hope everyone could spend those days with their families!!!

Well - here's another one working. I'm driving trams full of tourists around Blackpool (not far from RichardB's hospital I think). But hope to be relaxed and retired in Cyprus early next year.
