most peep are tellin me basically not to go wrok in cyprus.how do other peep survive then?
i really wanna go.
my folks have appartment up ni the mountainssomewherebut id need a car ,are cars cheap to buy?anyone help please

If you mean cheap runaround type cars, then, no, they're very expensive.

I sold my 7 year old car before I came over, and ended up paying twice as

much as I got for it, for a car nearly twice it's age. :bawling:

I haven't moved there yet but every time someone asks about jobs and pay the response is the same. Low wages and competing with Polish etc who will work very hard for a ridiculously low salary. There are a lot of very expensive cars driving around though so there must be money somewhere. Probabaly from ripping off the gullible British holiday home buyer.

Maybe worth coming over to see for yourself if you have an apartment you can stay in?

Unless you have good job prospects or plenty of cash to survive then its very hard at the moment to live over in cyprus . if you cant come over with enough to survive or be mortgage free then it wont be easy but if you're determined enough then its a great life

well,im not intending to stay for ever,only the summer like,if anyone else isintending to do the same as me,it wd be great to hear from yuo,mayb we cd get place together in paphos!let me know anyone out there.im down to earth 29 year old guy just wanting to get away from england

.. I am actually thinking about slaving me arse off in work and going!! I was in paphos in till november..and it was so boring i wanted to leave..and now im bk here n hate it.. It prob will be rather quiet in mid may tho tbh..but just sunbathe and get ya tan topped up rdy to um pull ur "eye candy" haha

i shuda gone bk in march to be an animator

but bit late now!! but if u wanna know ewt about paphos ill add u on msn if u want?!
