For starters, why are you both confusing me with the Volkswagen GT ? :?

Secondly, the fastest way to put me to sleep is to bring out your backgammon! Since when are games based on probability interesting?

Anyway, perhaps we should have a "Cyprus Problem" members get-together, you know have lunch somewhere nice and drink/sip beer/wine, and laugh over all the foul language we've thrown at each other... something like that perhaps...

Not excusing the sort of behaviour described but stop twisting things to make it sound like this story came out last month. I searched haravghi on Mar 22 and it's not there.

You gotta stop quoting stuff from six years ago and making it sound like it was said yesterday :)

I am not twisting anything. I posted the link which was clearly dated. Can you see anything in my post that says that it happened yesterday? It may well be happening today but this time they are just whispering it>>>>>

Just to re-quote you Zan

"Were you trying to make up with the Russians at the time and telling them that you had their best intentions at heart............See the difference?"

Were the Greek Cypriots trying to make up with you in 2001? Read some UN reports. Relations were not all that great at the time and there were no attempts at making up or any Greek Cypriots telling you guys they had your best interests at heart.

And by the way you didn't post a link with that one. Go back to page 1 and check. You posted a link on the Anastassiades topic and I found the story you refer to here about the army on that same 2001 site.

Again not saying it didn't happen. It probably still does but if you are going to post this stuff at least put it in some context.

Damsi

With the greatest of respects the context that you are talking about has existed on this forum for a while yet. I appreciate that you have not been here long and I have grown long in the tooth in my time here, but the on going arguements sort of are the contexts here and although this seems unrelated as such, within the whole context it is not. If you see what I mean. :?
