Oman - not far from Cy and easy to reach. Green and no so hot in spring.
Thailand, Lao, Cambodia - exotic, beautiful scenery, nice people, great historical sites and tasty food (and very cheap:)

Cape Verde is a newish destination havent been there myself yet but had some good reports.

Go to Krabi in Thailand. Stay in the Krabi La Playa hotel in Ao Nang.

Fantastic place. Not crowded. People are beautiful and gracious.

Beaches are stunning, food is superb. So much to see and do.

Flights from Larnaka via Bahrain/ Gulf Air to Bangkok, then book an Air Asia domestic ticket online.

I am dying to go back there :(

Have been to Cuba 3 times on business. Stay away, it is dirty, expensive and you get ripped off left and right. Not worth the aggravation.
