Get Real, the Myceneans did not just trade with Cyprus. They settled and colonized Cyprus; creating settlements and incrementally Cyprus became Greek dominated demographically and culturally. Therefore, the statement is not correct.

Free_Cyprus

You really do amuse me. No, there were a few thousand people living in Cyprus when the Myceneans came. Those few thousand however became assimilated.

You people always talk Greeks came, Latins came, Ottomans came, Arabs came, well I have a simple question:Does anybody know if the people who were living in Cyprus ever got any ships to go elsewhere? I mean was it something like everybody who came, got stranded here as well? Was their trip a "one way ticket"?

Just 100 years ago it was diffucult to travel from one side of Cyprus to the other, can you imagine how difficult must have been for people to leave their lands and come settle to such a remote destination like Cyprus through the sea? What incentive did those people have risking their lives on a trip to an unknown place using a ship that had more chances to sink than arrive at destination?

Anyway: after 2 years I`m glad of this, but from the beginning it was a bit confused: Cyprus IS NOT a Europe, Cyprus is a part of Middle East.
BTW:Ancient Greece was the cradle of European culture, not Asian

and prey tell, what is this extensive research you have devoted your life to given you as evidence of your bold theory?

1. Words means nothing.
2. "Friend" means nothing.
3. Promises means nothing.

etc.

It was a bit hard experience, but now I can live with this :D

"Gentelmen`s agreement" is not exist at all. These above are arabic features, not european.
