One of my friend wrote me: if you want to apply for a study in Portugal, just throw out you watch and forget about time. This word means nothing here

And don`t go to any pub, people are spitting straight on the floor, throwing litters around etc. This is mean : Portugal is not Europe as well

Not really

Simply: borders between mentality and culture, are not at the same place, like on the map of EU

Europe becomes a home of multiculture. Until the cultures won`t mix together, our generation will feel the same, what I`m feeling in Cyprus, or you - in Greece

Technically he is correct. The first Greek merchants (Myceneans) arrived on the island to trade with Cypriots at around 1500BC and their influence was strong enough to shape language, religion, and culture.
