Hi everyone. This is my first time in a forum. So please be gentle with me. I just wanted to introduce myself and ask some questions at a later date, if thats ok. We are buying a studio in Payia and will be coming over sometime in June for a holiday. Are we Scots welcome in Cyprus. We dont drink,smoke,fight,swear and everyone else is right:) please forgive me if I make mistakes here. I'm only learning.

they only hate americans here. oh, and the GC have a thing agains the TC, and visa versa. but none of us take it too personal.

Thanks gang. I hope I've hit the right button for reply. You're all very kind. I wont be bringing bagpipes as I could never find where to put the batteries. Maybe a kilt now and again.

welcome mentor. we have a place in peyia so will probably meet up in "the jail" ! scots welcome as is anyone else who accepts cyprus and the cypriots as they are! too many colconel blimps in cyprus! we are brits and mix with anyone who is honest,funny and enjoys life.

Reminds me of an old joke.

A man goes to the Doctor, and says, Doctor, Doctor, I want to live to be Hundred years old.

The Doctors asks him, well, do you get drunk a lot and have fights.?

Do you drive crazy and do dangerous sports.?

In which the Doctor says to him, well, if you don't do all those things, why the hell do you want to live to be Hundreds years old for. :lol:
