Kivrikoglu now wants a public apology...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

But then it is also pretty disgracefull that this guy is the Primeminister and forgets about the one day that people pay respect to all the soldiers who died, considering many died for his country too, so its not all really about the national anthem, but the fact that he did it on that day...

Oh...give us a break shah!

The last time I checked CTP was supposed to be a left wing party and therefore pro internationalism rather than nationalism. CTP has never used the turkish flag or national anthem in their congresses in the same way that Akel never uses the Greek flag or national anthem in any of their congresses or events. So don't try to sweeten the pill with that post.
You should also be well aware that there is widespread dissatisfaction amongst CTP members about the way that the CTP leadership chose to follow regarding the CyProb. They are now in full view of where their leadership lead them by aligning with Turkey on the CyProb.

What is wrong with remembering the soldiers that died, including the ones that died for TRNC?

It doesnt matter what country you are in, its just pure respect, and that day is for ALL Turkish soldiers, doesnt matter if they are Cypriot or Turkish, everyone celebrates it, except our Primeminister appearantly...

No one said that ir wrong for the ordinary Turk. However, we talk about the CONGRESS of a Cypriot left wing party that wants to call itself as one with internationalist views.

It would be rather odd for to CTP as display the Turkish flag and sing the turkish national anthem in their congress in the same way that is for Akel to display the Greek flag and sing the national anthem.

Shah sorry but in Europe nobody plays the national anthem at party conferences, especially when GCs are invited.

Anyway I think it's about time Talat kisses the throne goodbye. Good luck our friends, what else can I say to you. It seems the "spirit of Atca" for the 82nd province of Turkey is waiting for you.
