I am amazed that the GCs allow them to go the south to buy things they can't get in the north. They whinge about the GCs, quoting Akritas to justify their thieving but they are more than happy to use the ROC when it suits them. There is a website in the north run by a brit, sometimes interesting but always back slapping and self congratulatory about the wonderful time they are having on someone elses property. As Jeremy Clarkson once said, " may the fleas of a thousand camels infest their underpants" forever (knickers too).
Only a thousand camels? these pariah's give decent British Imperialist bar stewards, plumbers and speculators like me a bad name
Doing My Bit!
Small victories are all important, just after the Green Line crossing points opened up mine was grabbing the last jar of 'Marmite' off the shelf in Orphanides before my fellow countryman, a resident of northern Cyprus could get his hands on it
Revenge of the N Cy. Brit!
My friend from the north must have put the word out on me with the Turkish authorities as I was charged CY£1 to take a leak on the 'other side' in January of this year. First time that I've been there since 74 and only then because I could'nt find anyone else to take an Arab client over. 'Marmites' not cheap in the RoC but it's a damn site cheaper, if you will pardon the expression than having the piss taken out of you on the 'other side'
