What are the opening and closing times for all the various shops
in Cyprus in summertime.
eg. Jewellers, kiosks, gift shops, supermarkets.

Are shops closed on Wed. & Sat. afternoon and all day Sunday.

Where can I find out the exact times from?

Is there a Government office?

Please help.

kiosks are open on all days, the times may vary though. usually they are open till late night.

saturdays are half days for all the shops and supermarkets.

supermarkets are open full day on wednesdays.

Shopping hours? No-one really knows!

I think we have Summer shopping hours from last weekend, which means later closing each day and longer shutting at lunchtime.

For the weekends leading up to Easter, shops can open on Sundays, but not, I think, otherwise.

Since the begining of the year the Police have been fining shops for opening on Bank Holidays - not many shop keepers were aware it was illegal.
