What other history is there? free_cyprus isn't history all about war, invasions, independence etc. Take the US for example. Their history only really started 400 years ago. I don't get your point

i think Cyprus has a pretty decent history that can be thought, its a sensitive subject and if its going to be written to be thought then it has to be done in a very balanced way

but unfortunately we cant even aggree on our history ourselves let alone teaching them to others

For its size Cyprus has a lot of history that goes back several 1000s years.

Just recently I was reading about the oldest perfume factory in the world that was discovered recently in Cyprus.

as far as history goes Cyprus has everything !!!! invasion by lots of armies, corruption, murder, wealth, religion, battles you name it
the USA cannot even come near to the amount of history that Cyprus can come up with  in fact the USA has hardly any history at all.

yep in the world ranking of history Cyprus is up there with the best

I suggest to go and visit the chirokitia ancient settlement. It is midway between Nicosia and Limassol. This settlement is one of the oldest discovered in the world and is more than 3500 years old.
