This is Justice .........

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Thing is tho TC, whilst you bolden the parts of that article to stand out - there are also parts of history where Turkish Cypriots at that time and before commited crimes on other Cypriots. How about the Armenian Cypriots that were forced from their homes in northern Nicosia by the TMT, in order make a Turkish Cypriot enclave there.

One thing I have noticed on this forum is that very few turkish cypriots on the forum take responsibility of hand back the blame on the turkish speaking cypriot leaderships of any point in history. And they continue not to take responsibility for the turkish speaking cypriot leadership infact they support it, especially the illegal use of greek speaking cypriot property.

In terms of the thread it was to make a point that what happened to this jusdge was not appropriate and by greek speaking cypriots on the forum excusing it does not make it right.

This once again shows that the RoC and the GC community are prepared to accept responsibility for all the wrong doings of the past and that in the RoC there is a justice system that works regardless of the political situation on the island and treats all cypriot citizens equally.
This is in contrast to what is going on in the north where what Turkey wants the "trnc" delivers.
Will TC ever wake up and demand their rights in the RoC by ditching the so called "trnc"? Damn, if I was a TC I would just do that, not as an individual but as an organised group of people.

Maybe I am asking for too much since what some TC extracted from the whole stoty is that it proves that there were injustices in the past. Thanks for telling us what we already know and accepted! Will you now behave as men and admit your crimes and selfishness in lining up with Turkey and the military?

Miltiades,

I second that, does the same apply to the 200,000 refugees that were also illegally removed? And when they get their compensation so he should get his. Sounds fair enough to me.

The RoC was responsible for this guy losing his job, so justice should be done. The RoC is not responsible for the misfortunes of refugees so we shouldn't compare the two. This guy had nothing to do with the crimes of Turkey and TC nationalists.

It demonstrates to me the "civilizing" influence that membershipof the EU brings to the ROC. Perhaps one day it will spread further north and across the sea.

Didn't expect anything less dismissive from your side zan! You have proved yourself times and times again that you will never divert one iota from the official line of turkey and their puppets on the island.

At least recognise that justice was done even to one individual that had the guts to take his case to the court.
