It is an annual event in the UK where ladies only, take part in a sponsored walk / jog / run and raise money for a Cancer charity, to help fund research. Last year 750,000 women took part and raised £50 million. I am doing it on May 20th, but am only going to walk it. It's only 5k but I don't do running. Even in the gym I walk on the treadmill, mainly because I'm frightened of losing concentration and falling off the end

I sponsored one of my friends last year, and got an email from her couple of weeks ago, for more sponsorship. She was very happy with the money she raised last year, so I'm sure she would want to raise more this year.
