well here is a list

Spanish Speaking Countries
On our planet Earth, we have many countries. All these countries have an "official national language." Out of all countries and their "official national languages," only twenty-one of them have Spanish as it. The countries are as follows:

1. Spain and all it islands 2. Guinea Equatorial in West Africa 3. Argentina 4. Bolivia 5. Chile 6. Colombia 7. Costa Rica 8. Cuba 9. Dominican Republic 10. Ecuador 11. El Salvador 12. Guatemala 13. Honduras 14. Mexico 15. Nicaragua 16. Panama, 17. Paraguay 18. Peru 19. Puerto Rico 20. Venezuela 21. Uruguay Thus, it is mainly in these countries that Spanish is spoken. You can also find Spanish speakers and writers in the Philippines and in Morocco. Although Spanish is not the official language of Belize, it is commonly spoken there. Spanish is also widely spoken in the US, and is actually the official language of New Mexico State.

F_C, the bold is incorrect. Spanish is indeed widely spoken in NM (@ 28% speak at home) but the state has no official language.

Languages section, about 1/3 the way down.

dino the reason why i put the spanish speaking countries up here is to demonstrate that
all these countries thousands of miles away from spain who were formarly accupied by spain and they were tortured murdered and told to change their riligions and names and language to speak spanish the comparison im making here is the same thing has happened in cyprus but the people of cyprus are to stupid to realise this cyprus has been occupied and invaded and ruled for well over 3000 yours and yet people think they are greeks and turks still. is it possible we are iraques or persions. or italians or lebonese and many many other powers that have invaded and rules cyprus

Well free_cyprus put it very clear. From Mexico to Argentina (with the exception of Brazil) everybody speaks spanish. Actually in some states of the USA (like California or Florida) you don't even have to speak english, with spanish you can comunicate to everybody. What I don't understand is the "spanish names" part, you mean about the countries names? Or the people of those countires names?

i know full well why i have put this here and iw ant to clear it with you thousands of miles away people speak spanish as a result they have been forced to speak spanish through invasion occupation torture and murder in the past history and yet we in cyprus still suffer from this ideology that people think they are greeks and turks when we have been invaded and rules for over 3000 years by at least 17 diffrent invading forces

Just to add something here:

When the American revolution started the OFFICIAL LANGUAGE in the USA was not English. It was GERMAN.

Ah, now I see where you were going with this and concur that our heritage is far more diverse than just Turkish and Greek. I would add the possibility of Arab heritage as well. Baticha didn't come from nowhere, innit (I think that's an Arab word)?

The real shame of the matter, though, is the burden of blood and tears.
