How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The fact that we speak dialects in Cyprus, says it all.

The Cypriot dialects differs substantially from mainland Greek and Turkish languages. We are a bastardized nation I believe.

Well I think the main differences is that the things that happened in Cyprus are still too fresh, while in S. america it happened a long time ago. Second, in latin america there was a lot of crossbreeding, actually there are countries like Argentina or Brazil where almost 90% of the population are of european descent. And last even when the culture differences were vast, religion wasn't a big deal for the aboriginies here, unlike cypriots who make it part of their identity.

Well Brazil's official language is portuguese, so if you live in Brazil you have to learn it right?

F_C i never disagreed with you on this matter, in fact it would be a blessing if every GC/TC would accept that. However my friend we are humans, there are a million people here who do not accept it. So what you are trying to do is utopian.

So let everyone believe he is a Turk or a Greek or Selim Aga, or Kolokotronis, I don't care.

All I care is to reach a unifying solution (partition will never happen) where everybody accepts and respects each others personality and rights, irrespective of whatever fantasies he has in his mind.
