Given the fact Turkish Cypriots up until recently only had 2 first names and did not have a "Family name", that was passed onto from one generation to the next, it would be almost impossible to go back any further than 3 generations, let alone back to the Ottomans. But it appears, they have now started having a first name and a Family ( surname) name in the "TRNC", so that it is in line with the system in Turkey, and the most part of the world. One more of our uniqueness of True Turkish Cypriotness have been made to be extinct.

I have received many complaints about your posts.

I understand that your intentions are good. The problem is that you are repeating the exact same thing over and over regardless of the content of the thread you are replying to.

Please understand that your one point about Greece and Turkey can not go in every thread made in the forum. If you have something relevant and of value to add to a thread please do. But don't post just to repeat that one point of yours. I am certain that after 300+ posts that you have made everybody has taken a note of it already.
