my first summer in Cyprus is approaching and i am living in a small one bedroom with no air con --anyone have a used one they could part with for not too much money ! alternatively, does anyone know where i can buy a used one at a store?

Hi, my advise is NOT to buy a used airconditioner. If somebody took the airconditioning out it means most probably that there is something wrong with it. Also a lot of airconditions have to be replaced by law due to the fact that they are using not the right gas. Hence you are in danger of purchasing obe of them.
There are shops like electroline / andreas charalambous / troullides/ emilios elidades that have airconditions starting from about 120 pounds. Alternatively you are probably better off getting a fan (either free standing or ceiling).

Penm, thank you for the advice-I had no idea! guess I will either sweat it out or do some saving up !
