if this post is for real and not a joke

you must contact the police who will in turn contact the Polish reps in your area
It is a criminal offence to take a workers passport
if you cannot contact the police post your adddress here and i will forward it to the Police and the Polish embassy in the UK for you along with your postings to get help for you.

If this is your idea of a joke the moderators should remove you from the group as this is a very serious accusation

How much money you get for which job? In another thread you asked from 500-600. That should be minimum but you should know that in Cyprus many people and many Cypriots get much less than that. :(

If you are working 5 days a week, you are well over the EU/Cypriot working directive. Get intouch with the people as mentioned above and stop getting exploited :(

Sounds familier ...
you should know that it is against the law for anyone to hold your passport. not even the police, without first getting permission from a judge.
phone the EU high commision in nicosia and tell them what has happened.
you cannot be forced to work 12hrs per day.
If you have a contract that your employer paid your fare and accomadation, speak with EU high commision about this,
THEY WILL TELL YOU WHAT TO DO.
