How dare you express ethnic cleansing in inverted commas, are you trying to say that it was not ethnic cleansing?

Just like TCs you keep on about 1963 - 1974 but you manage to ignore the fact that Greek Cypriot attitudes towards were shaped by hundreds of years of abuse by Turkey. You try and justify the current division in Cyprus by referring to historical events but you deny the GCs that right. Both sides are equally to blame for the current situation, I wonder how long you would survive in the north if your reports reflected that view.

As a matter of interest, how come your published articles are written in such perfect and precise English and yet some of your posts on this site are poorly expressed?

I'm not judging, I simply ask why you have such contrasting styles in the two media. My guess is that your publications are written by an English person using your ideas. Your guess that I am British is technically correct but I have a Greek Cypriot father and have always had close connections with my Cypriot family and Cyprus.
You are confusing the Greek Cypriot hatred, as you put it, for the British with hatred for British Governments not the British people. In some ways I can understand your support for Turkish Cypriots but unfortunately they are not the ones in control in the north, the Turkish nationalists and military are. So in supporting the TCs from north Cyprus you are in fact supporting what Turkey has done to the island and that is what I find unacceptable. As I said earlier, try and publish some more balanced articles in the north and see how long you are allowed to stay there.

Is this Forum proof that we cannot get along and we should all push for partition. Even if it were true that the old TCs and GCs got on it is plain to see from what is going on with the younger generation that there is more hate now than there has ever been. The GCs seem to hate the TCs more than ever and will not give them an inch which in turn is making the TCs hate them right back and so on. What is the point of carrying on this facade.
