Is this Forum proof that we cannot get along.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

How about if we reverse it, and say "if GCs and TCs can not live together then TCs should be ethnically cleansed"? I don't think they would like it in that way, but I am afraid if they continue with oppressing us thats what they are going to get in the end, like the Turks of Crete.

You are aware that you killed as many GCs during that period, don't you? Or in your history books you write fairy tales instead of the truth?

So no, I am talking about what you did to us, and what they did to Turks in Crete. 100s of thousands, not just some 100s.

whats happening here is really pathetic.
Each side trying to victimize its self more than the other, just to convince (yourselves mostly-not others) that the other side did u bad etc.

Why cant we all accept that we made mistakes in the past and finally move on? Yes, EOKA did not fight only the brittish but also the T/C and G/C and it was a nationalistic movement based on hatred and fanatism. The same exactly is for TMT and the turkish propaganda, setting bombs against the T/C just to make them believe that it was the G/C and that they couldnt live together.

Why can't you all put behind these things and just accept the fact that both EOKA and TMT were criminals and they are responsible (together with England) for the situation today in cyprus? Is it such a terrible thing to do; to admit that some of your people made mistakes?

Both sides still have a lot of work to do before we came to a just solution. Ethnicism still grows on both sides... so many years after what happened.
SAD BUT TRUE.

NO, what I am aware of is that EOKA killed many GCs and you are now pushing those numbers on to us. What I am also aware of is that we did not have an Akritas plan to work to but only defended our selves in our own country. In your statement you asked if the situation was reversed.... Well it was reversed AFTER you guys made the first attempt. I am lucky to be living in the UK...I consider my self lucky to have been chased out of my own country because the alternative was death or torture in terrible living conditions with a bit of extra persecution on top. This then enabled me to have an education and come back and haunt you. I don't know why, maybe it is because I believed that you guys had changed, but I tried to talk sense into you but...No chance. Your dreams and the idea that Cyprus is Greek still lives on and there is no place for us in your world. We have to make that place our selves and we will. If I become a full-fledged Turk in the process then so be it but just like you have achieved it will be under the pretence of the TRNC flag. You have achieved your ENOSIS with part of the island. I will help look after the only real piece Of Cyprus that is left For Cypriots. All Cypriots welcome.

iceman from satellites.co.uk ? 4.2m dish master ?

I think you will find the arrangement of "community equality" caused the problem in Cyprus from the beginning. There are two many "fixed ratios" in the constitution for which community gets and where they get it.

Until one-man, one vote is implemented all the way through, and both communities support it, then people will feel put out because it is not fair on the "numeric majority" to give a the numeric minority "extra points" to make the voices of equal volume.

I guess Zan has erased from his memory things like TMT and the TC terrorists so he can more faithfully produce his one sided and distorted version of the tiny part of history that suits his partition propaganda.

BBF? Does it say anything to you?
Two options left - either a BBF or partition.
Make up your mind and stop pretending that things did not change since 1960. Yours is an equaly dangerous mentality.

As for zan, you are a lost case mate. I suggets you go to Turkey instead of comming here. The same thing goes for the GCs that consider themselves Greek and not Cyptiots.

Do you claim exclusive rights to that Piratis. The problem is I remember everything and that is what is screwing up your plans. Your propaganda is premature in that eye witnesses and victims still exist and what you have been taught is being ripped apart. You, as a preacher on the Greek propaganda can no longer preach with confidence and I and people like me are the thorn in your side.
