Stop playing sillybuggers,free_cyprus...
If you can use a computer, you can put a comma or two at the appropriate place.

Or else you will make the mistake of sounding like a machine which has gone out of synch with the environmental factors created to assimilate and brainwash some of the Greek speaking and turkish speaking forumers who cannot begin to deciper the meaning and the enlightened undertones of comments such as you are trying to make in a convoluted manner and without really getting through to those people who need to undrerstand what you might be in the process of trying to impart from your mind to theirs

- 22.5.58: Murder attempt against Ahmet Sadi, Director of the Turkish Office of the Pancyprian Workers Federation. In order to save his life, Sadi left Cyprus soon after and settled in England.

- 24.5.48: Murder of Fazil Onder, Chief Editor of the weekly newspaper "Inkilapci".

- 29.5.58: Murder of Ahmet Yahya, committee member of the progressive Turkish Cypriot Athletic-Cultural Centre.

- 5.6.58: Murder attempt against Hasan Ali, member of a Construction Workers Committee of the Pancyprian Labour Federation.

- 30.6.58: Murder of Ahmet Ibrahim, a barber from Limassol, because he had friendly relations with Greek-Cypriots and expressed himself in favour of Greek-Turkish cooperation.

- 3.7.58: Murder attempt against Arif Hulusi Barudi. He was working in a business owned by a Greek Cypriot. Before the attempt he had received a threatening letter demanding that he leave his job.

From the:
Rise and Fall of the Cyprus Republic by Kyriacos C. Markides (1977), Yale University Press

p.19- "...Of some importance in an understanding of the underground movement, and specifically the process of recruitment, is the social background of Greek Cypriots who were killed by the EOKA as traitors. Assasination attempts were made against 230 Greek Cypriots. Of these, 148 died, 69 were wounded, and 13 escaped unharmed. The number of Greek Cypriots killed as traitors is significant when the total number of deaths (English, Greek, and Turkish) over the four-year period of the "Emergency" is considered. Alastos puts the total at 650 dead, Jones at 508, and Barker at 600 (see referencesc below). Thus about 23 percent of all those killed during the four years of the "Emergency" came from the ranks of the Greek Cypriot traitors."

Additional references: Alastos, Cyprus Guerilla, p.7 ; Jones, Grivas and the Story of EOKA, p.158; Dudley Barker, Grivas: A Portrait of a Terrorist, p.8.

the two above should prove once again, how nationalists act.
their first step is always to attack the moderate voices of their community.
then the rest, shut up and start supporting them.... till today....
