What did you think this renewed attack on me and VP was going to achieve. Did you really think that we were going to run away and hide. I don't think so. Apart from Bir and Kiks every other TC is willing to stand up for their rights. Those two gave up on their people a long time ago and I do not know a single other TC that talks the way they do.

Will you listen to yourself Zan. If Bir and I have given up on our people, what do you say to the other 30%-35% in the "TRNC", who may in fact be close to 90% of all the True Turkish Cypriots, if you discount the settlers, that does not want a partition, but a workable solution. How does Bir and I, differ from those positions.?

How does a "United States of Cyprus" in anyway, is giving up on my people.??

I have given up on Zan some time ago,Kikapu.
He seems to have swallowed the VP propaganda shit hook, line and sinker...Lets have a look at the "rights" Zan wants to fight for:

The right to be treated as inferior Turks, and told at every opportunity to prove their "Turkishness"...

The right to be treated as "British bastards" or "gavour bastards" and told to get a grip on their true Turkish values...

The right to be called "godless infidels" and told to go and learn about real Islam...

The right to be saddled with puppet governments who cannot wipe their arses without permission from Ankara...

The right to live in a pretend state up to their necks in gambling, drugs, money laundering,prostitution...

The right to be kidnappped and robbed at gunpoint by the Turkish mafia...

The right to live with frequent electricity cuts and water rationing like a third world country...

The right to be reminded every day that they have been saved from the terrible GCs,who would eat them alive without the Turkish army....

I could go on but that would do for now...

Zan are you listening to the voices of reason , the voices of true Cypriots , or are you just totaly immersed in your envisaged dream of a new world , a new modern world you once proclaimed , a new world that people are prepared to risk life and limb in order to escape to the UK hidden in trailers ?? Wake up and shake the hands of your people ,put your trust and faith in the new world that is Cyprus !

Just in case you haven't noticed VP ........ turkish speaking cypriots are moving to their peril by mother turkey. your population is rapidly decreasing in your own homeland and your too bloody stupid to see it and too arrogant to accept it and hence do something about it.

My only regret is that the RoC is not doing enough to save those turkish Cypriots who want to have a better life for themselves and their families move to the south. The RoC ought to do more in that area and it should start with affordable housing initiatives and employment opportunities and for those with business to provide tax incentives to move their business to the south and hence benefit from the EU membership and bring them to line with EU standards. But who is to listen ....... Papadopoulos is enjoying not only wealth and cudos but also power. Before you attack Papadopoulos in relation to my coment I suggets you take a hard good look at Talat's incompetence in delivering a viable solution for his people. Once again he too is enjoying the praise and false hopes provided by mother turkey, wealth and ego.

TMT attacks against Turkish Cypriots, May-July, 1958
--------------------------------------------------------------

- 22.5.58: Murder attempt against Ahmet Sadi, Director of the Turkish Office of the Pancyprian Workers Federation. In order to save his life, Sadi left Cyprus soon after and settled in England.

- 24.5.48: Murder of Fazil Onder, Chief Editor of the weekly newspaper "Inkilapci".

- 29.5.58: Murder of Ahmet Yahya, committee member of the progressive Turkish Cypriot Athletic-Cultural Centre.

- 5.6.58: Murder attempt against Hasan Ali, member of a Construction Workers Committee of the Pancyprian Labour Federation.

- 30.6.58: Murder of Ahmet Ibrahim, a barber from Limassol, because he had friendly relations with Greek-Cypriots and expressed himself in favour of Greek-Turkish cooperation.

- 3.7.58: Murder attempt against Arif Hulusi Barudi. He was working in a business owned by a Greek Cypriot. Before the attempt he had received a threatening letter demanding that he leave his job.

From the:
Rise and Fall of the Cyprus Republic by Kyriacos C. Markides (1977), Yale University Press

p.19- "...Of some importance in an understanding of the underground movement, and specifically the process of recruitment, is the social background of Greek Cypriots who were killed by the EOKA as traitors. Assasination attempts were made against 230 Greek Cypriots. Of these, 148 died, 69 were wounded, and 13 escaped unharmed. The number of Greek Cypriots killed as traitors is significant when the total number of deaths (English, Greek, and Turkish) over the four-year period of the "Emergency" is considered. Alastos puts the total at 650 dead, Jones at 508, and Barker at 600 (see referencesc below). Thus about 23 percent of all those killed during the four years of the "Emergency" came from the ranks of the Greek Cypriot traitors."

Additional references: Alastos, Cyprus Guerilla, p.7 ; Jones, Grivas and the Story of EOKA, p.158; Dudley Barker, Grivas: A Portrait of a Terrorist, p.8.

i have not heard one argument in here where it did not involve the crimes that cypriots done to each other with the help of turkey and greece, from the momment turkish speaking and greek speaking cypiots became traitors to cyprus and became turkeys and greece agants............ and today everyone is talkign about what the other side have doen to them................ they have done it to themselves by excepting to be greeks and turks by excepting to be egents of turkey and greece by excepting to betray cyprus.....................and who are these people dont look far just look to all the important goverment post that have been taken up all the way up to prime ministers presidents and all the important positions that have been taken up by goverment workers they are who they are traitors to cyprus thats why they hold the positions they hold in the goverment today as a result of their betrayal to cyprus its htier rewards for ciding with greece and turkey

free_cyprus...Can you do us a favour and put some commas and full stops in your posts??? And perhaps try making your sentences shorter and sharper. You make a lot of sense,I think, but it gets lost in your convoluted way of saying things...I think that is a pity, because we need to hear from someone with your opinions as well... :!: :?:
