I think Denktas has finally lost his marbles
. I fail to see the connection between this section of his statement and the arrest of 4 people in the north. Rauf knows as good as anyone that this was in all likelihood a hit
arranged by one of Guzelyurtlu's many enemies in the north. I haven't yet crossed the line in my own car so I don't know how tight the procedures are, but I highly doubt that cars are searched for weapons. So, it would be quite simple to cross the border, assassinate their target and return in good time. It's quite frankly disgraceful that Denktas (and a number of other politicians on both sides) would try to exploit these murders for political purposes.
my name skevy, i live in london and im a greek cypriot. You all have strong views on the guzelyurtlu murder case, are you students studying law and trying to make something of this, or just interested in talking about it????. Anyway i feel strongly about this because i knew Eylul, the girl who was murdered. I use to go to Med high in larnaca Cyprus with eylul, we use to call her Elly, she was a very close friend of mine and she left this world as an angel toward such a cowardly action, if you are touched by this story and not just debatable about it could you please leave a message in her guestbook on the website we made for her...
