First of all a huge congratulations to all the TC actors. A performance with direct connection to the history and evolvement of the cyprob. Excellent performance, nothing less than excellent. Very clever ideas in costumes and staging.

BRAVO!

Has any TC living in Cyprus seen it?
Why "peace" was a black woman :?:

Hey snake I already said the theatrical play was having direct connection with the Cyprus problem. Peace was a black woman dressed in bride's white. Why? (nothing to do with racial things). The answer will follow.

For the moment here's stage 1:

The slaves are Cypriots, and they discuss about war. They say war sank the people in shit. So they start feeding a "kotsiropampulo" a native Cypriot huge fly, with shit so it gets huge. They discuss what kotsiropamboulos symbolises and how it relates to status quo.The boss of the slaves waits for kotsiropamboulo to become huge so he will ride it up to heaven and go find Peace and bring her back to the Cypriots. There in heaven he will also question the Gods as to why they caused the Cyprob.

The whole performance was 17 stages guys, I urge everyone living in Cyprus to go see it.

Like I said before everything is in Turkish but there is no problem for a GC to appreciate it. I can upload a summary of all 17 stages in Greek if anyone wants to go see it.

In the Turkish pages it says that this play was first performed 20 years ago...Isn't it sad that Baris (Peace) still remains an impossible dream???

I would like to go and see it with you one day, dear Pyro.
Lets book it for 2017,Okey??? :(
