Spa's, Paphos, Nicosia and villages!

Postby sal » Tue Mar 27, 2007 7:08 pm

So, what's the weather like now? Hope it's hotting up for my April adventure!! :D

Am thinking of treating myself to an overnight spa and treatments - am thinking either the Elysium in Paphos or the Londra in Limassol.

Which is best hotel and spa? Anyone been?

Also, a bit of a general one - anyone stayed at the Classic in Nicosia?
And, as for the smaller villages can oyu pretty much rock up and find a decent bed for the night?

If cost doesn't matter then I suggest Aphrodite Hills spa.
Elysium is good as well ( I should know, I work there:)
Columbia resort in Pissouri village is another good one.

Aphrodite hills hands down for spa facilities. They have soooo many different treatments and types of pool. Elysium spa is nice too. The private prep from with jacuzzi is a nice touch. As a hotel the Elysium is better than AH, my opinion.
Le Meridien spa is on the same parr as AH although it has supposedly won awards for its spa. The hotel reception is so tired though.

So it's looking like the Aphrodite Hills all round then? Thanks for all your feedback!

As for the smaller villages can you pretty much rock up and find a decent bed for the night?
Obviously not everyone is internet savvy in the villages so I don't think I'm finding any b&b places on my searches due to them being small independent rooms.

Is that the case?
