driving from kato paphos to paphos airport

Postby lpm10 » Sun Mar 25, 2007 5:44 pm

I was thinking of hiring a car from the airport on my next visit can anyone advise is it easy enough to drive to and from the airport.
Is it well signposted & apart from the odd crazy driver is there anything to look out for possible wrong turn offs.
Is satnav available with car rental. :?:

Thanks, I didn't think it would be a problem but didn't know if perhaps there was a notorious tourist blunder I may have come accross.
Last thing you want when your heading home!

It's very easy - just take the exit from the roundabout by the stadium towards Yeroskipou and it's just one road all the way to the airport. It's the old Paphos to Limassol road or as previously mentioned - the B6.

As you drive along the road past the agricultural areas you will eventually see the road rise up to pass above the highway - the turning to the airport is on the right before you reach the bridge.

It's well sign posted too but one thing never ceases to surprise me in that the 4km drive seems to take longer and longer each time

Out of airport car park and turn left.... turn right or go straight on and you are in the sea!

Straight for 4k then at T junction turn left and keep going till you get to the Debenhams Island... then you turn left at the Island and follow dual carriageway for about 1.5k (mind the speed/traffic light camera) then at next Island turn right and you are on the right road to KP or TOTK

For those who do not live in Birmingham: Cypsrus is an 'siland' and Debenhams has a roundabout :-)

Not your fault CS, as the the title of the thread says: 'driving from kato paphos to paphos airport'.

a bit misleading.
